Student Voice is a student run committee that is supervised by teachers. Students are voted onto the committee by their fellow students. Each year group has two representatives and monthly meetings are held to discuss the issues of the day. The Student Voice provides an opportunity for students to make their voice heard.
The committed students also learn to develop their communication, planning and organisational skills which will be of benefit to them in their future lives. The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and having their say on school policies. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.
